Classes

You can sign up for classes at the store or over the phone. Class fees must be paid in full in order to reserve a space. Cancellations one (1) week or more prior to a scheduled class will receive a full refund; cancellations less than one week before class will receive store credit.

If you are not able to attend a class on its currently scheduled date, ask us about scheduling another session! If there is a technique you would like to learn that is not in our regularly scheduled classes, we can schedule a private class; call or come in for pricing and details!

You will receive 10% off any materials purchased the day of the class (excluding PMC, artisan beads, class registration, and gift certificates. Cannot be combined with other offers.).

NOTE: You may have noticed that several of our classes are marked with “Previous bead-weaving experience required.” The skill level for these classes is intermediate or above; in order to cover all the techniques defined in the scope of the class within the specified time-frame, students will need to know certain techniques before taking the class. These “prerequisites” are necessary to make the class experience fun and successful for everyone. We are happy to let you know what skills you need before signing up!

Announcing Mini Classes:

We know that everyone is so busy and during these hectic times it is not easy to find a way to make a little time just for you. We are excited to announce that we added “Mini Classes” to our schedule. These classes are shorter, smaller projects than can be completed in less than an hour and a half. You still receive 10% off all materials (excluding PMC and artisan beads) for Mini Classes. Skill levels for Mini Classes will range from Beginner to Experienced.

Crystal Crisscross Necklace (Mini Class)

In this class you will learn to create a glittering necklace using crystals and seed beads that is complimented with beautiful organza ribbon. This necklace is perfect for special events and for everyday! Try experimenting with different color combinations. The possibilities are endless! Cost of the class is $25 plus materials.

Chain Link Earrings (Mini Class)

Learn how to create sparkly, sophisticated earrings using chain links and crystals. These dangling earrings are perfect for all occasions and are so fun to make! You cannot find this in any store! Cost of the class is $22 plus materials.

Hand Forged Clasps (Mini Class) *** NEW CLASS ***

Tuesday, August 26^th, 10:30am-11:30am.

Why not make every component of your jewelry? Using heavy gauge sterling silver wire you will learn to create your own clasps! You will learn everything from forging techniques to applying a patina finish. Each clasp will be one of its kind and exclusive to your jewelry! Cost of the class is $20 plus materials.

Captivating Crystal Earrings (Mini Class) *** NEW CLASS ***

These are the cutest little components you will ever make!! Using crystals and seed beads you will learn to create a pair of magical earrings that will enchant all of your family and friends! Spiral Bracelet/Necklace

In this class you will use seed beads and Czech glass crystals to create a bracelet that will truly be unique! If you want a floral look to your piece, you can add leaves, tulips, and lucite flowers to create a beautiful bracelet or necklace that only nature could inspire!! The Spiral is so versatile that you can use it with any bead and it will look different every time. This class you don’t want to miss! Class fee is $45 plus materials.

Sparkling Netted Earrings

In this class you will create a pair of luminous earrings for all occasions! Using varying sizes of Czech crystals and seed beads you will be amazed at how easy and fun they are to make! You won’t want to miss this exciting project! Cost of the class is $40 plus materials.

Paisley Petals Necklace *** NEW CLASS ***

Choose one: Thursday, September 11^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Thursday, October 23^rd, 5:30pm-8:00pm.

Using tear drop beads and Czech crystals you will learn to create a necklace with paisley inspired beaded clusters suspended from a lacey chain of seed beads. These fun components can be made into bracelets and earrings to be worn as a set or individually. Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.

Beaded Crescent Earrings *** NEW CLASS ***

Choose one: Thursday, September 4^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Tuesday, October 7^th, 10:30am-1:30pm.

In this class you will bead a crescent shaped body for an earring that will be embellished with Swarovski bicones and Czech crystals for a truly elegant, sophisticated pair of earrings. These can be worn as a formal or casual element in your wardrobe. Previous peyote experience required. Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.

Rings and Ruffles Bracelet *** NEW CLASS ***

Choose one: Thursday, September 25^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Wednesday, October 15^th, 10:30am-1:30pm.

In this class you will learn to make a chain link ruffled bracelet using Delicas and seed beads to create an adorable bracelet. Finish it off with a handmade toggle bar and ring and wow your friends and family with this intricate- looking finished piece!! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.

Vintage Beaded Bead Earrings/Necklace/Bracelet

These double sided beads are romantic and give the appearance of estate sale elegance! You can hang a faceted drop from the bottom for earrings, or link them together with brass filigree pieces for a necklace or bracelet that will stop traffic! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.

Flat Peyote Bracelet

Choose one: Wednesday, July 16^th, 10:30am-1:30pm; Thursday, September 11^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm

In this class you will learn the peyote stitch and make a beautiful bracelet as your finished product! You can use multiple colors of seed beads, cubed beads, hex seed beads and much more. The cost of this class is $45 plus materials.

Lentil Staircase Bracelet *** NEW CLASS ***

Using seed beads, Czech glass and cubes you will learn to create an open weave of lentil ecstasy! The creative way of using the beads in this bracelet will fascinate you and spark your desire to make hundreds! Cost of the class is $50 plus materials.

Wheel of Crystals Pendant *** NEW CLASS ***

In this class you will learn to make a pendant that is sophisticated and full of sparkle! You will weave together an intricate pattern of seed beads and crystals around a pearl that will absolutely astound everyone who crosses your path! "All About Color" Theory Class

Choose one: Thursday, August 14^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Thursday, October 23^rd, 5:30pm-8:00pm.

Have you ever been stumped by color? Do you feel like you are stuck in one color palette and can’t get out? Join this hands-on color theory class where we will explore the wonderful and complex world of color in ways you never imagined! Color is a vital part of the design process…and we will conquer it in this class! Cost of class is $35. Materials will be provided.

Beginner Earring Class

Thursday, October 9^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm.

Come in and learn how to wire wrap earrings just like the professionals! Using any beads of your choice, you will learn to create a loop and coil at the top of a headpin and attach it to an earring wire. By the end of the class you will be a pro at wire wrapping loops! Cost of the class is $30 plus materials.

Finger Woven Bracelet/Necklace

Saturday, October 18^th, 1:30pm-4:30pm.

A modern take on the traditional macramé, this woven necklace is done with nylon thread and your own two hands! Beautiful glass leaves and flowers cascade around this wonderful necklace. You can use this technique to make necklaces, bracelets or anklets!! Class fee is $45 plus materials.

Introduction to Micro Macrame Pendant

In this class you will learn the techniques and skills of micro macramé and make a fabulous pendant! Using nylon cord, seed beads and Czech glass you will put together a wonderful necklace alive with color. It’s not 1970 anymore!! Cost of the class is $50 plus materials.

Micro Macrame Bracelet *** NEW CLASS ***

Saturday, October 4^th, 10:30am-2:30pm

Take your macramé skills to the next level with this fabulous bracelet class!! You will learn more of the techniques that make micro macramé so addictive and fun. We will incorporate beads and buttons to create a bracelet that is truly unique. Cost of the class is $55 plus materials. Previous micro macramé experience is required.

Victorian Flare Pendant *** NEW CLASS ***

In this class you will create a Victorian inspired pendant using brass, crystals and seed beads. This delicate pendant can be put together with brass chain, silk cord or beads! Netted Crystal Cuff

Choose one: Wednesday, August 20^th, 10:30am-1:30pm; , September 23^rd, 10:30am-1:30pm..

In this class you will learn to make a chunky woven cuff using crystals and varying sizes of seed beads. You can create multiple looks to this sparkly bracelet by changing crystal sizes and color combinations. Cost of the class is $45 plus materials. Previous bead weaving experience required.

Bezelled Rivoli Earrings

Saturday, September 6^th, 10:30am-2:30pm

In this class you will learn to make a gorgeous pair of beaded earrings using a unique, sparkly crystal. We will bead around the rivali to create a bezel type setting. You can decorate it with bicone crystals, other colors of seed beads or hang drops from the bottom for a fancier look. This technique can be used to make pendants and pins with larger stones. Cost of the class is $60 plus materials. Previous bead weaving experience required.

Beginner Precious Metal Clay (PMC) Class

Saturday, September 13^th, 10:30am-4:30pm

Come and experience all that PMC has to offer! Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is fine silver powder combined with an organic binder. Once molded and fired, the binder burns away and the result is pure fine silver. This amazing, versatile material can be molded and manipulated to make one of a kind jewelry and components. Cost of class is $85 plus materials.

Advanced Precious Metal Clay (PMC) Class

Saturday, October 11^th, 10:30am-3:00pm.

Want to learn more intermediate techniques in PMC? Every other month we will have an advanced PMC class with different and more challenging projects. We will explore keum-boo (the application of 24K gold to the surface of PMC), 3-D lentil and box shaped beads, advanced stone setting and so much more.

In the October class we will learn to construct a 3-D triangle hollow pendant with a set in stone in the front. This fabulous piece will be truly one-of-a-kind!! Cost of the class is $75 plus materials. Previous PMC experience is required.

Precious Metal Clay (PMC) Lab Time

Choose one (or all!): Saturday, September 27^th, 10:30am-4:30pm; Saturday, October 25^th, 10:30am-4:30pm.

We are opening up our PMC studio for everyone to come and use all our tools, textures, molds, patina, and so much more! We will be available for questions and help on special projects that you want to create. Come in and play and have all of the best tools at your fingertips! The cost is $40 and includes the firing of your PMC pieces. Space will be limited, so call ahead of time to reserve your spot.

Woven Lentil Bracelet/Earrings

Tuesday, October 14^th, 10:30am-12:30pm.

In this class you will learn to make woven 3-D lentil bead using Czech crystals and seed beads. These cute, delicious lentil beads have a wonderful antique appearance. Everyone will be dazzled by this bracelet, which can be a necklace, earrings, anklet, or watch band! There are so many options to this fabulous project!! Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.

Crystal Helix Bracelet

Saturday, September 6^th, 2:00pm-4:00pm.

Using an assortment of sizes of crystals and seed beads, you will create an elegant ‘chain’ of beads with a helical type spiral running through it. This is a truly unique bracelet that can also be a choker or anklet! You can change the sizes of the beads to achieve all different looks. Cost of the class is $40 plus materials.

Beginner Beading Class

Thursday, September 25^th, 5:30pm-8:00pm

Come in and learn how to make your own jewelry! You will learn all of the skills needed to make necklaces, bracelets, anklets and watches. Once you start, you won't be able to stop! Class fee is $30 plus materials.

Victorian Filigree Wrap Pendant

Choose one: Monday, August 18^th, 10:30am-12:30pm; Wednesday, October 22^nd, 10:30am-12:30pm

Using brass filigree pieces you will learn to wrap a stone, cabochon, or any sparkling jewel into a beautiful pendant. The result is a unique and vintage inspired pendant that can hang from a simple silk cord or be strung with beads for a fancier look. This technique can also be used to create earring and bracelet components. Class fee is $35 plus materials.

Wire-wrapped Rings

Saturday, September 27^th, 10:30am-4:30pm

In this class you will learn how to transform sterling silver or gold-filled wire into magnificent rings! Guest instructor Sue Carr will show you all of the tricks to two styles of wire-wrapped rings. Enhance your wire-wrapping skills with this incredible class. Your friends and family will be amazed!! Free-form Peyote Bracelet

Beaded Cabochon Pendant

A new spin on the classic beaded cabochon, in this class you will learn to take a flat back cabochon and turn it into a pendant or pin! You will bead around the cabochon using seed beads and crystals to create a bezel-type setting that will be truly unique! You can use anything from ceramic to semi-precious cabochons! Beaded Tennis Bracelet

Have the sparkle without the expense of diamonds! In this class you will create a beaded bracelet with a rainbow of colors that will glitter and shimmer on your wrist. In this class you will create a glorious fringed necklace using multiple sizes and colors of seed beads, accent beads and Czech glass. This fringe technique produces a rich, full bodied collection of beads that will sparkle on your neck!! You can string the fringed piece for a simple effect, or create a woven rope for it to hang from for a more dramatic appearance. Cost of the class is $45 plus materials.
