Registering for classes: You can register for classes at the store or over the phone. Class fees must be paid in full in order to reserve your seat. Cancellations one (1) week or more prior to a scheduled class will receive a full refund; cancellations less than one week before class will receive store credit. Please note that if you do not show up for, or call to cancel a class that you have registered for, your class fee is non-refundable. If you are not able to attend a class on its currently scheduled date, ask us about scheduling another session! If there is a technique you would like to learn that is not in our regularly scheduled classes, we can schedule a private class; call or come in for pricing and details! You will receive 10% off any materials purchased the day of the class (excluding PMC and other metal clay products, artisan beads, class registration, and gift certificates. Cannot be combined with other offers.). REMINDER: We just want to take a moment to remind everyone that class fees must be paid in full at the time you reserve your spot. This requirement is necessary for us to keep our book keeping in proper order, and to ensure that everyone who wishes to take any given class has the opportunity to do so. Please don't ask for exceptions, as this puts us in a difficult position. In order to make the payment process convenient for you, we gladly accept credit card payments over the phone. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.NOTE: You may have noticed that several of our classes are marked with “Previous bead-weaving experience required.” The skill level for these classes is intermediate or above; in order to cover all the techniques defined in the scope of the class within the specified time-frame, students will need to know certain techniques before taking the class. These “prerequisites” are necessary to make the class experience fun and successful for everyone. We are happy to let you know what skills you need before signing up!

Copper Enamel Dangle Earrings ***Brand New Technique Class*** Choose one: Friday, December 23rd, 10:30am-1:30pm.; Thursday, December 29th, 1:00pm-4:00pm *** New Session ***; Friday, January 20th, 10:30am-1:30pm; Wednesday, February 15th, 10:30am-1:30pm. Introducing a brand new technique to Artful Beads Classes!! Enameling is fusing glass to metal, in this case copper. In this class you will learn to create a domed piece of copper using a dapping block and other fun tools. Then you will apply the enamel powder to the copper discs using the torch and a special method to achieve fun, bright colors to the copper metal. You can combine different colors together to accomplish multi-dimensional effects on the metal. Introduction to Russian Spiral Bracelet ***Brand New Technique Class*** Choose one: Thursday, January 5th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Sunday, January, 22nd, 11:00am-2:00pm; Thursday, February 23rd, 5:30pm-8:00pm. In this class you will learn the bead weaving technique of Russian Spiral Rope! You will create a bracelet using varying sizes of seed beads and then graduate to a larger, sparkling crystal to add visual texture to this stunning bracelet. Netted Treasures Bracelet ***Brand New Class*** Choose one: Saturday, January 21st, 1:30pm-4:30pm; Thursday, February 9th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Wednesday, February 29th, 10:30am-1:30pm. Our Metalworking Series!!! Our Metalworking Series is ever-expanding! We have classes that will introduce you to various techniques for connecting metals together, including fusing fine silver wire, riveting, forging, and soldering. In these classes, you will learn how to transform the most basic of materials into spectacular necklaces, earrings and bracelets! With this knowledge, the possibilities truly become endless! Class size will be limited to Four students. Please note, we will be working with a small propane torch in many of our metalworking classes. Long hair (shoulder-length or longer) MUST be tied back, and loose-fitting clothing is not permitted.

Advanced Bezel Setting Pendant Wednesday, February 8th, 10:30am-2:30pm In this advanced soldering class you will learn to make a custom designed bezel setting. Using sterling silver bezel wire and sheet metal you will create a base for the pendant from scratch. You will then adorn this bezel with metal accents using various soldering techniques. The twist to this project is that you can set a stone cabochon or design your own using resin and fancy paper! These skills can be applied to bracelets and earrings to create your own custom designed collection! Cost of the class is $60 plus materials. Previous soldering experience required. |

Stacking Finger Rings with Gemstones Choose one: Friday, December 30th, 10:30am-2:30pm; Wednesday, February 22nd, 10:30am-2:30pm.. Stacking finger rings are all the rage these days! In this class, you will be making 5 separate rings; two of the rings will be plain silver bands, two will feature 4mm cabachons set in sterling silver bezel cups, and one will have a 6mm cabochon. This is a great way to get the look of a wide band, but with the option of wearing the rings separately, too! Cost of the class is $65 plus materials. Previous soldering experience required.

Tranquility Bangles Saturday, January 7th, 10:30am-2:30pm This class is a wonderful introduction to soldering. We will be making three bangles during the class, any or all of which can have beads floating on them. Once the wire is soldered into a solid bangle, the piece will be textured and shaped. You will use copper or brass sheet metal to create an oversized clasp that is not only ornate, but functional. You will hammer and texture it to make it unique to your own style and then you will solder a fancy bezel cup onto the surface. Antiquarian Beaded Cuff Choose one: Thursday, January 19th, 5:30pm-8:00pm; Tuesday, February 21st, 10:30am-2:30pm. The design for this hand forged cuff bracelet was inspired by jewelry from centuries past. It is custom made to fit your wrist and then textured and antiqued to give it a vintage appearance. Eclectic Fusion Wrap Bracelet Wednesday, January 11th, 10:30am-2:30pm. In this class you will hand forge heavy gauge silver wire into a cuff bracelet for the main focal of the bracelet. You will then create a wrap using cord, beads, metal and knots to make the band that will wrap around your wrist several times. That is exactly what you will find with this funky, oversized necklace! Using a variety of metals you will create a linked chain using both soldering and riveting techniques. You will also use sheet metal to create three dimensional links with dangling charms for a change in visual texture.
