Artful Beads is a bead boutique specializing in a wide variety of classes ranging from beginner to advanced; an exceptional assortment of beads and supplies; handmade jewelry created by local artisans; bridal jewelry services; Central New Jersey's premier in-store PMC studio; and so much more!

This is an exciting series at Artful Beads!  For a small required kit fee, instruction for these classes is free!  Kits will range in price from $12.00 - $18.00. 

REGISTERING FOR FREE CLASSES:

The free class project will be announced on the first day of the month.  In addition, registration for the free class will also open on the first day of the month.  In order to maintain the spirit in which the concept of the free class is intended, we are unable to add additional sessions.

We are re-running one of our most popular earring classes for November’s free class project. These little earrings are adorable and work up quickly - great for holiday gifts!!  November’s Free Class sessions will be held on November 20^th and the kit fee for November’s class is $12.  

We do have waiting lists after the classes fill up; if you’re interested in adding your name to the list, just give us a call at the store!

Free classes will be held the third Thursday of every month.  There will be 2 sessions each month; 10:30am – 12:00pm, and 5:30pm – 7:00pm.

We do require payment to reserve your place in a class. You can sign up for classes either at the store or over the phone.  You will receive 5% off all materials the day of the free class excluding the required kit, PMC, and artisan beads.

Our Czech Glass Beads are now Online!

We are now offering many of our Czech pressed glass beads online!  We currently have  all of our unique and unusual beads available, and will be adding more beads on a regular basis.

Artful Beads features Central NJ's first full-service PMC studio.  If you want to play around with PMC but don't have the tools and textures, no need to worry...for a minimal fee you can rent studio time at Artful Beads! 

If you have all that you need to work with PMC at home but don't have a way to fire your pieces, bring them to Artful Beads for firing!!!

Parties!!!

What better way to celebrate a special event than to have a jewelry-making party!!  Bring your friends, have a ton of fun, and wear your new pieces home! 

Parties are open to children ages 9 and up, and - of course - to adults.

Party Take Out!!!

Parties at Artful Beads are always a good time for all…good beads, good food, and friends – what more could you ask for?  Now you can “take out” the party to where ever you want it to be – your home, the beach, a girl scout meeting! 

The Party Take Out package base price is $5.00; this includes 20” of beading wire, two crimps, one base metal clasp, basic instructions, and a reusable box.  From there, your party package can be customized to include any and all beads you can imagine!  The final price of this customized Take Out Party Package will be based on the materials selected for your party project.  For party hosts who don’t have crimping experience, we will be happy to give an in-store demo so you can easily assist all of your party guests with completing fabulous strung jewelry pieces!

Frequent Beader Club!!!

Are you a beadaholic who can just never have too many beads?  Then our Frequent Beader Club is for you!!

Every time you spend $30, you receive a stamp on your club card.  Once you accumulate 10 stamps, you will receive 10% off your next purchase (excluding PMC, Artisan Beads, and class registration).  We will keep your Frequent Beader Club Card in the store for you so you never have to worry about whether you have it with you or losing it.

Artful Beads is now offering a "Wish List!"  You can come into the store and pick out all the beads, materials, books, jewelry and classes (or anything else in the store!!) you would love to receive as gifts, add them to your own personal Wish List, and let your loved ones know you are "registered" at Artful Beads!  We will keep the list at the store for you, and check things off as they are purchased!  What better way to get exactly what you want combined with the element of surprise and beads!!!
